About Brick News

Brick News Pty Ltd is a company founded in Australia, with the purpose of providing news and updates on both upcoming and existing LEGO products. Brick News also hosts competitions mostly featuring LEGO sets as prizes. The main competition is the Monthly Draw, which is open to Brick News subscription holders. Build Competitions are the second major competition, also hosted monthly but often with varying start and finish dates. Finally, other miscellaneous competitions are occasionally free-to-enter on the official Brick News Instagram page. The company was made by fans of LEGO, but is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by LEGO.

Our founder, Fraser, was born in Berwick, Victoria before moving north to Queensland. During his childhood, he longed for the LEGO Star Wars 10188 Death Star, a huge $700 set with just over 3800 pieces. Unable to afford it, he vowed he would one day create something that would give an opportunity for other LEGO fans in his position to have a chance at winning expensive LEGO sets. Over 14 years later, Brick News was born with its first Monthly Draw kicking off in December, 2022.

The Brick News competitions were initially open only to Australians, but gradually expanded to allow for international entries. Between the many competitions held, there have been winners from New Zealand, North America, Canada, England, Switzerland and other countries. Aiming to be as cheap and affordable as possible, our monthly subscription is just $5 AUD, the same price as a cup of coffee.
