Interior is black too....... but the figures are the best part of it!! (I am collecting figs though). $90 sounds perhaps right for the set without figures
This is my first falcon too (microfighter doesn't count). I am not a total star wars nerd and remember everything, but I like the idea of others questioning "huh? a black falcon? thats not right!"
I also just bought 75257 as a resell (got it for $146 BNIB)... but I am a bit torn and want to keep it too!
The Black Falcon does look really cool, I still need to pick it up… if you’re not sure about reselling your 75257 Falcon it’s worth looking it up online to try and gauge whether people want the set or if it’s not desirable. BrickLink has a public wishlist system you can refer to!
This is such a beautiful set. I’ll be honest initially I thought it a bit strange, but after seeing more and more photos and videos of it I’ve grown quite fond of it. The black and red is very striking, and the minifigure lineup is something else too. I think this is a solid addition to any collection for sure.

I agree with @ordinarybrick. I personally love it when LEGO comes out with unique sets like these. It's not often we get to see minifigs like this.
