I had this thought of building my own Death Star from The World Globe Lego . That i didn't know about it until seeing a youtube video, youtuber thinking the $1000 Deathstar could be the world Globe. 🤔 just have to change the base to black and level , change the surface to light grey and add a dish..

I went on Facebook Marketplace yesterday, a bloke was selling his Used Deathstar II 10143 missing some pieces for $400 in a plastic storage box . Im thinking of getting it.
Nice keyboard/mouse mat.... what brand if you don't mind me asking? I have a Witcher 3 one from battle mats. When I bought that years ago, there was not a lot of options for large fabric mats... will need a new fresh one sometime in the future.

Still waiting for the Globe Set , i have collected enough enclose deathstar by 100% in dark and light grey pieces. I have 5kg of each colour.
May be cheap options on Facebook market place (depending how in tune you are with social media). I’ve bought around 30kgs of Lego for around $200 Aud all up from there. I’ve sorted through about 27kgs and have found some cool pieces and ones you may be looking for. You don’t need a 30kg Deathstar but finding the right deal may give you new pieces and new ideas cheaper.
Found a used World Globe set for $78 no instructions no box. Woohoo may aswell start building the stand.
I’ve looked at getting the parts from bricklink a few years ago and those big grey parts are mucho dinero. Good luck though. Interesting to see if you could pull it off.
