Democratically chosen set. - AT - AT unboxing and build post.

I’ve enjoyed the build and the democratic selection process so after this small palate cleaner I’ll be back with another set of build for you guys to choose from.

Well it’s finally done. Rare photo of it in its natural habitat with its offspring.

Looking the business now.

Box 4. Bags numbered 14,15,16,17,18. 25 in total.

Into the home stretch now.

Bag(s) 13 and box 3 done. Just some extra panels and greenling.

Bag(s) 12 done. Put on a roll cage in case it is doing any track laps. Attached to legs now. Thing is bloody enormous.

Bag(s) 10 done. Starting to look like a bus, which I guess it basically is.

Bag(s) 9 done. Starting to take shape.

Bag(s) 8 done. More black than I used to with a star wars set.

Box 3. Bags numbered 8,9,10,11,12,13 but 12 in total. Seperate bag with no number. So 13 all up. First sticker sheet. Moving onto the body now.

Bag(s) 7 and box two down. Bit of a nightmare to attack the feet/shins to the rest of the body. I did have a slight issue where 2 fell off. Looking good tho.

Bags 5 and 6 down.

Bag(s) 5 done. This is a first for me. The entirety of bags 5-7 is just 4 versions of the same leg. The instructions are very thin as they are a quarter of the size of usual. Feet well under way.

Box Two. Bags numbered 5,6,7 but 15 bags in total. Finishing off the legs.

Bag(s) 4 and Box 1 done. Getting big.

Bag(s) 3 done. Even a nice little empire branded screw driver for moving the legs.

Some real engineering in these, thighs, I guess,you would call them.

Box 1. Numbered 1 to 4 but 11 in total. Looks like each box has its own manual which is easier than the massive ones in other large U S sets.
