Jek-14 Stealth Starfighter lucky find

Was lucky enough to come across a $30 tub of Lego from Facebook Marketplace. Was pretty stoked to build this and find most of the pieces. Unfortunately those I couldn’t find needed to be substituted.

In the tub it had the bounty hunter, astromech, most of Jek-14 (no legs), only the helmet of the special forces clone trooper and more. Need to find a spot for it (and complete it)

Having been away from LEGO between the early 1980s and 2020 I don't recognise the set ... but I do recognise a funky design. And a Star Wars set in all Black? Very cool. Batman would be proud.

It’s one of my favourites now for sure. The black and also the shape makes it very unique to other Star Wars sets.

When you think of the X-Wing for example. It has a sleek design from the front to back. Whereas this Starfighter is slim from the front, has a very bulky and chunky cockpit but large and fragile looking wings.

I think the wings look fragile because of its proportions. Usually the end of wings is where you would have less weight. This set, you have the jets on there.
