Power Miners

One of my favourite themes when I was younger. Found these two sets in storage and reminded me of those animated commercials. Very nostalgic 😊. Did anyone else collect power miners?

I've only discovered them recently having emerged from my 'dark ages'. They've got a really solid, rugged style. And I love their rock monsters.

They have that somewhat rare lime green colour too that really appeals to me as part of their style. The rock monsters were fun with their comically large mouth. I remember trying to collect one of each, but wasn't lucky enough.

It's a classic set. I think it was my favourite as a child for a long time mainly because of the 2 counter rotating drill pieces.
