All Brick News Winners as of December 2nd, 2023

Brick News has hit a major milestone - we've just finished our 12th consecutive monthly draw! Congratulations to our latest winner, Nicholas Roberts from NSW, who has scored the LEGO Star Wars: Ultimate Collector Series Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, worth a whopping $1000 AUD!

This article will recap all of our winners from the last twelve months (excluding polybag winners).

November 2022

November 2023 was when we did a test run of the Brick News website. At the time there were only seven website members (who were given the special Founders site badge for helping us test it was working). Elijah Broadwater from QLD, Australia won the LEGO 76911 Speed Champions Aston Martin from the draw.

December 2022

This was our first official month and our first proper monthly draw. Zoe Bateman from WA won the LEGO 75331 Star Wars: UCS Razor Crest.

January 2023

To kick off the month, we announced on our Instagram that two lucky winners would score a 75345 501st Battle Pack set after Brick News was fortunate enough to get hold of the sets ahead of release. The lucky winners of this giveaway were Ethan Gulino from VIC, Australia and Daniel Alexander from WA, Australia.

Following on from that promotion, we hosted another Instagram competition for the 75342 Republic Fighter Tank. Joshua Slade from QLD, Australia won this through his witty comment which earned him the prize.

Finally, Paul Osman from VIC, Australia won the 75313 UCS AT-AT worth $1300 AUD from our January 2023 monthly draw!

February 2023

For the February monthly draw we had both a grand prize and a runner-up prize. Luke Hipperson from NSW, Australia won the grand prize (which was actually two sets) - the 75309 UCS Republic Gunship and the 75341 UCS Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder! Our runner-up winner was Tate Hamilton from VIC, Australia who scored the 75347 TIE Bomber.

March 2023

In March we launched our first ever build competition as a test run. The five winners of this competition were Lachlan Cooper from WA, Angus Harrison from VIC, Paul Buckley from NSW, Jake Isard from WA and Stephen Scott from QLD (all winners were from Australia).

Our grand prize winner from March's monthly draw was Jeremy Morris from TAS, Australia. He won the 10303 Loop Coaster, with the official motor kit and a compatible lighting kit. The runner-up prize winner was Daniel Adams from QLD, Australia, who won the 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe.

April 2023

In April the grand prize was the 10236 Star Wars Ewok Village with a compatible lighting kit to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Harrison Hoffman from NSW, Australia was lucky enough to win the set, while Malcolm Querney from Canada won the runner-up prize 75335 Buildable BD-1. Malcolm was our first ever international prize winner.

May 2023

We kicked off our second build competition in May, with the 75353 Endor Speeder Chase Diorama prize being won by Jack McDonald from VIC, Australia.

Charlie Wadham from New Zealand won the 75331 Star Wars: UCS Razor Crest, becoming our first ever international grand prize winner. Alister Curtain from QLD, Australia won the runner up prize, the 75348 Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptor.

June 2023

10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell set was our grand prize in June and was won by Angus Harrison from VIC, Australia. This was the second time he had won a prize from Brick News after his build competition win in March. Thomas Worrall from England was our lucky runner-up, scoring the 75337 AT-TE.

July 2023

July kicked off with a very tight build competition, in which Jack McDonald from VIC, Australia won by one vote. He scored the 75352 Emperor's Throne Room Diorama. Zoe Bateman from WA, Australia (who was our first even grand prize winner) and Michael Scott from SA, Australia won a 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers set by random draw from subscribers who voted on the build competition.

The grand prize for this month was the legendary 75192 LEGO Star Wars: UCS Millennium Falcon, won by Dean Taylor from NSW, Australia.

August 2023

Brad Mathieson from VIC smashed his opponents in the build competition with his Kali Ma entry, winning the 77015 Temple of the Golden Idol, worth $240 AUD! Following in second place was Jack McDonald from VIC, winning the 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb. Finally, Benjamin Clark from NSW came third place and won the 77012 Fighter Plane Chase.

The Mos Eisley Cantina was the grand prize for this month, won by Adrian Fretwell from WA, Australia.

September 2023

The September build competition featured 75357 The Ghost & Phantom II and was won by Sven Suess from Switzerland. Benjamin Clark from NSW won second place and was awarded with the 75362 Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle.

Our first ever Harry Potter grand prize was won by Cameron Harries from WA, who scored the Gringotts Wizarding bank.

October 2023 Due to Frase being away on extended leave, the build competition was extended into November, so there were no prize winners during this month for the build competition. Mat Westphal from VIC, Australia won the UCS Venator from the monthly draw.

November 2023

The build competition concluded this month with three prize winners. Sven Suess from Switzerland once again came first place and won the 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship. Second place was Denver Watson from TAS, Australia who scored a 75337 AT-TE. In third place Griffin Robinson from SA, Australia won the 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs Shin Hati's Starfighter.

Our grand prize winner was Nicholas Roberts from NSW, Australia, scoring the UCS Venator.
