‘Merchant Boat’, the cheapest option this series, has 2,180 pieces and 4 minifigures. It is a steam boat inspired creation, a unique build indeed, which has paddle-wheels that spin around when you move the boat forward.

‘Wild West Train’ is the other vehicle in this series, and the most expensive set. It has 3,192 pieces with 12 minifigures and 2 horses. This is a fantastic train model, but also has a water tower and a windmill. A great set for any train or Wild West enthusiast.

‘Medieval Seaside Market’ is a modular set, meaning you can reconfigure the layout of this build, and the designer has also given a link to their Rebrickable page to get “FREE building instructions to 3 expansion modules and 1 alternative build” It has 2,560 pieces and 9 minifigures.

‘Riverside Scholars’ is the next set in the story series the designer has created. If you could get your hands on all of these sets then it would make for a lovely display shelf and no doubt would be fun to play out the story. It has 2,769 pieces and 5 minifigures.

And finally, my favourite of this series (and possibly my favourite design throughout the BDP so far), ’Siege Encampment’ brings us a chance to create a battle with our castle themed sets. There is no large single build in this design. Instead the 2,598 pieces are spread across 6 camp locations (tents, kitchen, blacksmith and herbalist), as well as the siege engines and defences. There are 18 minifigures, a horse and an ox.
Although I continue to write about the BrickLink Designer Program and all the amazing LEGO builds that people design, I haven’t purchased any of the sets, and have only read the comments of those who have enjoyed building them. I am saving the instructions for the sets when they are released, and one day intend to try building one using the pieces I have in my collection already. Budget and lack of space have held me back on pulling the trigger on any of these sets (as well as being too late to the crowdfunding and seeing them SOLD OUT!)
If budget and space aren’t an issue for you, then don’t delay jumping onto the crowdfunding (once the countdown ends) and get your pre-order in quickly!
The 2 medieval sets are already sold out... train set is over halfway to being sold out too. The other 2 sets are both funded already, so get online and check out the remaining sets.
The train suspiciously looks just like the train scene out of back to the future 3 just needs the dolorian!
I have a small version of the dolorian from the Lego demenstions game.
Hope to get that game back out again soon now that the boy is getting old enough to understand and play it.
Was a pretty cool game, obviously the best bit was all the mini figures you could get.
FYI super man was the most op mini figure in the game.
Definitely some sick sets, think I may grab that Wild West train! Good looking set 👌🏻
Hey everyone! In the email that just went out we mistakenly wrote that the sets will be up for pre-order in 12 hours. This is incorrect - please refer to the link in the article for the correct countdown.
On the bright side, at least you have advance notice! Take care everyone 😄
