LEGO Bionicle 40581 Tahu and Takua Leak

LEGO Bionicle fans rejoice! Thanks to @fanoftoatahu over on Instagram, we now have images of the upcoming LEGO promotional set 40581 Bionicle Tahu & Takua.

The set is scheduled to be available as part of an offer between January 27th and February 9th 2023 for customers who spend $100 USD (roughly $150 AUD) on the following qualifying themes: City, Ninjago, Monkie Kid, Classic, DOTS, Creator 3-in-1 and Friends.

Uniquely, these sets will not be made from traditional Bionicle parts, but will be brick-built using regular LEGO pieces. Regardless, for a promotional set these builds look quite good and while many fans may be disappointed that this is locked behind a large paywall, we think it is likely that this promotion will boost LEGO's sales significantly.
