LEGO Harry Potter Gringotts Leak

In a recent post by PromoBricks, we've heard that a new Gringotts set (76417) is anticipated to release this year for roughly $620 AUD. This massive set should be compatible with the existing $700 AUD LEGO 75978 Diagon Alley.

LEGO 10217 Diagon Alley from 2011 was the last time we saw Gringotts Bank included in a set. Prior to that, we saw it in a 2002 standalone set. Source: LEGO.com.

We haven't seen the famous bank introduced in the Philosopher's Stone since the Diagon Alley set back in 2011, and prior to that we had only a tiny set from 2002 which didn't really resemble much of a bank. The new set will be a welcome addition to modular Harry Potter fans' collections. It is unclear yet if the set will include any other buildings, such as the Leaky Cauldron, but PromoBricks has advised that they believe it will come with a railroad system and multiple playfeatures. There could also be a promotional set featuring a bank vault.

In other Harry Potter news, there are rumours that set 76419 will be the Knight Bus, albeit in UCS form this time at a whopping ~$240 AUD. 76420 is rumoured to be a buildable Dobby the House Elf, which will make for a scary display piece you won't want to have facing your bed at night. It will apparently come with a buildable cake and sock build.

We'll keep you updated if we hear anything else.
