May 2023 Build Competition Winner Announced

The winner of the custom Star Wars-themed cantina has been announced! Congratulations to Jack McDonald from VIC, Australia for his winning build: The Villains Bar. Open only to criminals, this winning build took Jack two nights of building to complete.

The bar features numerous Star Wars characters, including rare characters such as Darth Malgus and General Krell. The bar includes multiple taps and a draining rack, an ATM machine, a pool table and even a... dancing pole. Outside, two classic Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn are turned away by a Death Trooper acting as the bar's bouncer. Also in line is Asajj Ventress, a Mandalorian, a stormtrooper and Darth Jar Jar. There's also a homeless clone trooper getting wasted in the corner.

A Death Trooper turns down two classic Jedi Knights who were not welcome in the bar. Darth Jar Jar eyes them off as he prepares to ambush them.

We reached out to Jack who had a few words to share with his competitors. "It was cool seeing the other submissions and the figures that were included in everyone's cantinas. There were some really good builds but ultimately I think the Force was with me on this one," said Jack, who is looking forward to receiving his Endor Speeder Chase diorama.
