For those of you who may be living under a rock, The Penguin has been fantastic so far, with a 91% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.8 rating on IMDb. With just one episode left (releasing Monday morning in Australia), I strongly recommend watching the show before the finale releases. If you're in Australia, The Penguin is streaming on the platform Binge.

Before you continue reading, there will be spoilers later in the article for both The Penguin (2024) and The Batman (2022). A warning will be provided before delving into any spoilers, but I'd strongly recommend watching the show and the movie before finishing the article.
Set just one week after the events of The Batman (2022), The Penguin shows the struggle for power between Gotham's criminal gangs following the death of gangster Carmine Falcone. The show is brutal and understandably is rated MA15+ in Australia as it contains explicit violence, high impact coarse language and drug references throughout. As a result, this also means it's incredibly unlikely that LEGO will create any sets based on the show.
However, there is actually a way to obtain the official LEGO Penguin minifigure, based on Colin Farrell's depiction seen in the show. While the set has been retired, it's still possible to buy set number 76181 - Batmobile: The Penguin Chase. This Batmobile set includes a Batman minifigure in addition to Colin Farrell's Penguin, and may be one of the only opportunities to ever get this version of the Penguin in LEGO form - unless he returns in The Batman Part II. At the moment, it's still possible to buy sealed copies of this set for between $60 and $80 Australian dollars, which is a good deal considering these sets are no longer being produced and include this iconic character as a minifigure.

SPOILERS AHEAD - BE WARNED
Have you been keeping up with The Penguin so far? With the season finale releasing in roughly 48 hours, it's hard not to be excited for the conclusion of the show. However, there's one noticeable omission from The Penguin... Batman hasn't appeared yet.
While Batman not being present is arguably a good thing, we are yet to hear criminals even mentioning his name, there has been no Bat-signal in the sky and aside from a TV appearance in the very first episode, there's been very few references to the Caped Crusader. So far, many of Penguin's activities have taken place during the day, or out of sight, and it's likely that Batman may have other issues he needs to prioritise.
With that being said, episode 7 of The Penguin ended with a bomb being detonated, severely damaging infrastructure in Crown Point and killing innocent civilians. With Batman's goal of striking fear into villains while being a beacon of hope for the citizens of Gotham City, it's almost imperative that he gets involved. Showrunners including Matt Reeves and Lauren LeFranc have stated repeatedly in interviews that Batman won't be making an appearance, but not showing him would leave much explaining to do at the beginning of The Batman Part II...
How do you think the finale will go down? Let us know in the comments - or on the forums. We may post a competition there shortly!
