Two Return of the Jedi Set Leaks

In an exciting start to a Monday morning, we were treated to two images of brand-new LEGO Star Wars sets! To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, LEGO is releasing the Endor Speeder Chase Diorama and the Emperor's Throne Room Diorama. We can thank Reddit user moqqba for the leak, as they spotted the sets in a Montreal airport in Canada when the store accidentally put the sets up for sale early. The 75353 Endor Speeder Chase is set to retail for around $90 in Australia, and comes with 608 pieces. The build features a scout trooper, as well as Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa in their Endor rebel gear. There's plenty of fauna included in the set as well as two trees, a 40th anniversary plaque and a quote from Luke Skywalker that says "Quick! Jam their commlinks. Center switch!"

We also got a good look at the 75352 Emperor's Throne Room, a slightly pricier set at around $110 AUD. The set comes with Luke Skywalker (rocking a brand new hair piece), Darth Vader and of course the Dark Lord of the Sith himself - Emperor Palpatine. The iconic build featured a huge viewing window, the Emperor's throne and the steps Vader and Luke fight on. Another famous quote from Luke: "I am a Jedi, like my father before me," is included on a display panel with the 40th anniversary plaque.

All up, these two sets look fantastic and will make for great display pieces in any Return of the Jedi fan's display. They are quite expensive though, so it might be a good idea to sit back and wait for deals to come up before purchasing these sets. With that being said, they'll likely be very sought after and could go out of stock temporarily depending on demand.

75354 is Jabba the Hutt's Throne diorama, however that was not seen on display in the store, or at least wasn't spotted by the leaker. Prior to these leaks we had already heard speculation the set was either delayed or cancelled. It's possible that they are putting it off until the next wave or when the UCS Sailbarge comes out, however, it could also be possible that they've scrapped the set entirely.
